GTA 6 Leaker Cyberleek Threatens to Release a Full Playable Build, Tied to a $30 Million Crypto Target
Cyberleek says it will release a GTA 6 build with the full story if its token reaches a $30 million market cap. No outlet has confirmed the build exists.

This story is not confirmed by Rockstar Games. Treat the details as provisional.
The leaker known as Cyberleek has threatened to release a playable build of GTA 6 that includes the full story mode. The threat was posted on the leaker's own website on October 10, and multiple outlets agree that nothing so far shows such a build exists.
The post sets no deadline. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive had not responded to it publicly when the threat was first reported.
What Cyberleek is threatening to release
The site claims the build contains a story mode that can be "played to the end", credits included. Cyberleek says it will be released if the leaker's cryptocurrency, a Solana token called $CYBERLEEK, reaches a market cap of $30 million.
The token is a long way from that figure. Reports in the days after the threat put its market cap at about $5 million and falling, and then at about $4.75 million.
The demand for GTA 6 on disc
The post, titled "The Offer", says Take-Two can stop the release by putting GTA 6 out on disc and apologizing for not doing so. Boxed copies of the game contain a download code and no disc.
The two conditions do not fit together, as Tom's Hardware pointed out: by the leaker's own terms, nothing is released unless the token reaches $30 million, whatever Take-Two does. The group behind the token is reported to have cashed out about $250,000 from it in August.
What has leaked so far
Cyberleek first posted GTA 6 gameplay clips in August 2026. On October 8, a file titled "Extended Leek" appeared with about 25 minutes of footage. That footage has not been independently verified, and it is unclear whether it comes from the same person or group as the August clips.
Cyberleek has since tied the release of further footage to lower market cap targets for the token. Many observers believe the footage comes from an older build of the game.
How Rockstar and Take-Two have responded
Rockstar addressed the August leaks in a statement on Instagram on August 26.
It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time.
The statement ended with a request: "we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19."
Take-Two filed two DMCA subpoena requests in New York federal court on August 20, asking Microsoft and Discord for information that could identify the people behind the Cyberleek name.
Rockstar had not publicly addressed the October 8 footage in the days after it appeared. GTA 6 is due on November 19, 2026.
