Terms of Service

These terms cover the gta6map.net website, the GTA 6 Map app for Android (also called VIMap), and VIMap Publisher, the tool we use to publish posts to our own social media accounts. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Who we are

GTA6Map.net is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Vice City, Leonida and related names, logos, screenshots and footage are trademarks and copyrights of their owners, and are used here to identify and discuss the games.

Using the website and the app

• You may use the maps, guides, news and wiki for your own, non-commercial purposes.
• Do not scrape or copy the site in bulk, try to break or overload it, get around rate limits, or use it to break the law.
• Map locations, guides and news are written from public sources and our own research. They can be incomplete or wrong, especially before a game is released. See our editorial policy for how we source and correct content.

Accounts, suggestions and reviews

Suggesting a location or posting a review requires an account. You are responsible for what you send. Do not send anything you do not have the right to share, anything unlawful or abusive, or personal information about other people. When you send a suggestion, review, photo or video, you allow us to store it, moderate it, and show it on the website, in the app and in posts about the map, with your username. We may decline or remove anything at our discretion. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s Profile screen.

VIMap Publisher

VIMap Publisher is an internal tool. It is used only by the GTA6Map.net team, to upload videos and images we made to accounts we own on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Threads, and to read how those posts perform. It is not offered to the public and does not post to anyone else’s account.

• VIMap Publisher uses YouTube API Services. Use of YouTube through it is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the data it handles is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Content posted to TikTok through it is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service.
• Posts to Instagram, Facebook and Threads are subject to Meta’s Terms of Service.

Our content

The site’s own text, map data, design and code belong to GTA6Map.net. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Game screenshots and footage remain the property of their owners.

Third-party services and links

The site and the app use services run by other companies, such as Google sign-in and ads, and link to other websites. Those services and sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

No warranty

The website, the app and everything on them are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that they will always be available, error-free or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, GTA6Map.net is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the website, the app or information on them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the website or the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
