A Pilot Drew GTA 6's Cover Art Over Arkansas in an Eight-Hour Flight Path
Benjamin G. McDaniel III, who flies as The Pilot Picasso, spent November 5 and 6 tracing the GTA 6 logo, a sports car, an alligator and palm trees with his Cessna's track, visible only on Flightradar24.

A pilot spent more than eight hours over Arkansas on November 5 and 6 drawing GTA 6's logo and pieces of its cover art with his flight path. Benjamin G. McDaniel III, who flies as The Pilot Picasso, took off from Bentonville Municipal Airport in a 1978 Cessna 182 RG and hand-flew the whole route, Beebom reported.
Nothing was visible from the ground. The drawing exists only as the track the aircraft left behind, which anyone could follow live on Flightradar24 and can still be seen in its flight history.
What the flight path drew
The route spells out the Grand Theft Auto VI logo, with a woman holding a pistol, a sports car, an alligator, palm trees and a helicopter arranged around it, according to droidfeats, which lists the aircraft's registration as N1810R. Each shape is a separate set of turns flown in sequence, so a single straight line connects the parts of the picture.

Eight hours, flown by hand and solo
McDaniel describes the method as drawing first and flying second. "I start with an idea, then break it into a path the airplane can actually fly," he said. "All of the tracks are hand flown, and I fly these solo."
GTA 6 is not his first subject. He has traced Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Edvard Munch's The Scream the same way, and Beebom lists Spider-Man and The Odyssey among his earlier subjects.
Not a Rockstar promotion
Rockstar Games had no part in the flight. Beebom describes it as an independent fan project made to mark the launch, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has mentioned it. Rockstar's own two-week marker was the Launch Gallery, a set of new screenshots published on the official site on November 5.
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
