Real cars dressed as GTA 6 vehicles, on Leonida license plates, have been filmed driving through Miami in a convoy this week. The sightings include a Lamborghini Huracán in Vice Beach Police livery and a McLaren styled as the in-game Progen Emerus, according to clips collected by Game Rant.

Rockstar Games has not commented on the convoy. Multiple outlets treat it as part of the game's Miami marketing push, which includes banners at the Kaseya Center.

Which GTA 6 cars were spotted

Each car is a real production model wrapped or modified to look like a vehicle from the game. The ones identified so far:

  • Vice Beach Police cruiser, built on a Lamborghini Huracán.
  • Progen Emerus, built on a McLaren.
  • Coquette, with a Vice City wrap and a Leonida plate.
  • Cars styled as the Cheetah, Coquette D10, Tempesta and Manana, with no base models reported.

Lamborghini itself will not appear in the game, Insider Gaming notes. Rockstar uses fictional makes, such as Progen, styled after real ones.

The police livery matches the one in Rockstar's own Vice City screenshots, where Vice Beach Police cars patrol Ocean Drive. The Leonida plates match the ones on cars in the game's trailers.

Where the footage comes from

The clips come from fans, not from Rockstar. The local account ONLY in DADE filmed each car at a Shell gas station, and other clips show the convoy moving through several Miami neighborhoods. Fans began posting them earlier this week, after Rockstar released the GTA 6 launch trailer on October 15.

Miami's GTA 6 marketing so far

The convoy follows months of marketing in the city. Our roundup of the campaign so far covers the Kaseya Center banners and the Miami-Dade County pitch deck for the airport.

Not everyone in the county approved. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez and Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz opposed a marketing deal with local officials before it went ahead.

Rockstar has not said how long the cars will stay on the road or whether they will appear at public events. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
