GTA 6 costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition, on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Rockstar Games said when pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026. Both prices still stand on the PlayStation Store listing a month before the November 19 release.

Every pre-order made before November 20 adds the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add one month of GTA+.

How much is GTA 6?

  • Standard Edition, $79.99: the game.
  • Ultimate Edition, $99.99: the game plus what Rockstar calls "an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story".

The price is the same on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PlayStation Store also lists an Ultimate Edition Upgrade as a separate add-on, but it showed as unavailable for pre-order on October 19, and no price has been given for it.

What is in the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?

The Ultimate Edition's items, as listed by Consequence from IGN's reporting, include:

  • A '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and the Paradise Garage
  • A '95 Grotti Cheetah, a Shitzu Squalo and a classic car collection
  • Vehicles and a Vapid Ganado Retro Build at Jason's safehouse, plus vehicle mod shops
  • The Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver and personalized weapon variants
  • The PTT Youngin$ Compound and its scores
  • Vice City styles for Jason and Lucia, Goodtime Gear, the Stock 305 clothing store, Sara's Unisex Salon and Electric Fang Tattoo

What is the Vintage Vice City Pack?

It is the pre-order bonus for both editions: a two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan with the Shore Court Garage, and two Vice City outfits and hairstyles each for Jason and Lucia. Rockstar's wording is that "all Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026, will include the Vintage Vice City Pack", which covers launch-day purchases too.

Is there a GTA 6 disc?

No. GTA 6 is digital only, and the boxed version contains a download code. Rockstar says boxed copies go on sale on November 12 so that buyers can pre-load, the same day digital pre-loading opens. Pre-loading and the release time are covered separately.

The game is sold through the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store and retailers. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or its price.
