This story is not confirmed by Rockstar Games. Treat the details as provisional.

Manni L. Perez, the actress fans believe is the voice of Lucia, hosted an Instagram Live over the weekend and did not respond to comments about GTA 6, VGC reported on October 26. Rockstar has not named the actor who plays Lucia, and Perez has not said she is in the game.

The link between Perez and the role is fan speculation. Rockstar has not announced its voice cast, so nothing in the stream confirms or rules it out.

What happened in the Instagram Live

Perez opened by saying she had come on because "a lot of people are asking questions, a lot of people want to get to know me", according to VGC. The chat filled with comments about Lucia and the game, including "Ready for November?", TheGamer reported. Over 2,000 people were watching, per TheGamer.

She answered unrelated comments and talked about meal prepping, her dog and her used sedan. She said she is not a fan of social media. VGC says she did not acknowledge anything about GTA, although she paused at times to smile at the camera. Outlets differ on the date: some place the stream on October 24 and others on October 25.

VGC says her earlier credits include single-episode roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Jessica Jones and Chicago PD, and minor roles in GTA 5 as a clubber and a blackjack dealer. Some fans also point to the similarity between her voice and Lucia's.

VGC notes that others think she may not be involved at all and is benefiting from the attention by not denying it. TheGamer reports that Rockstar has reminded its actors that they cannot disclose their involvement until November 19, but names no source for that.

What is still unknown

Rockstar has not said when it will credit its cast. VGC expects Perez to appear in the credits if she plays Lucia. The game launches on November 19, 2026.
