GTA 6 News on October 29? Rockstar Has Announced Nothing; GameRant Points to a Thursday Pattern

Rockstar has announced nothing for Thursday, October 29, but GameRant expects news that day because GTA 6 material has appeared on a Thursday every week since August 27, by its count. The date is the outlet's own reading of the pattern, not a Rockstar announcement.

Rockstar's Newswire shows a looser pattern than the one GameRant describes.

GameRant lists nine Thursdays in a row: the Extended Look (August 27), the DualSense reveal and pre-orders (September 3 and 10), The Album (September 17), the Collector's Edition (September 24), the age rating (October 1), the radio station preview (October 8), the launch trailer (October 15) and the Miami marketing takeover (October 22). GameRant says October 22 was a little different.

Rockstar's own Newswire carries Grand Theft Auto VI posts on August 27, September 17, September 24, October 8 and October 15. It lists only GTA Online and Red Dead Online posts on September 3, September 10 and October 1, and nothing on October 22. What could come next

GameRant says a smaller reveal, such as more detail on customization or activities, seems as likely as another full trailer. It also reports a fan prediction that Rockstar could publish the game's file size, tied to an insider claim about review codes, and calls that "entirely speculation". No file size has been announced.

What is still unknown

Rockstar has not confirmed any release, post or event for October 29. The next fixed dates are pre-load on November 12 and the November 19 launch.
