GTA 6 Pre-Orders Reach 7.71 Million Digital Copies and $750 Million, Sensor Tower Estimates
Sensor Tower's tracker puts GTA 6 at about 7.71 million digital pre-orders and $750 million as of November 3, with PlayStation 5 at 74 percent. Rockstar has published no figure of its own.

GTA 6 has taken about 7.71 million digital pre-orders worth roughly $750 million worldwide, Sensor Tower estimated in its sales tracker as of November 3. The analytics firm's figure is a model built from its own data, not a count from Rockstar Games, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has published a pre-order number.
PlayStation 5 accounts for 5.74 million of those copies and $559 million, around 74 percent. Xbox Series X|S accounts for 1.97 million copies and $192 million. Insider Gaming and Tbreak report the same split.
How the estimate has moved
Sensor Tower had GTA 6 at about 6.45 million copies and $630 million as of October 18. The tracker read $600 million in mid-October and passed $750 million by November 3, a rise of more than $100 million in two weeks, Insider Gaming reported.
The platform split has not moved with it. PlayStation was at 74 percent in October and is at 74 percent now, in a launch with no PC version to take sales away from either console.
What the estimate does not count
Physical copies are not in the figure, so the real number of pre-orders is higher. Code-in-box versions reach retailers on November 12.
The $750 million is what buyers paid, before platform fees, so it is not Take-Two's revenue. Sensor Tower receives no sales data from Rockstar, Sony or Microsoft, and it revises the tracker as new data arrives.
The average works out at about $97 a copy, above the $79.99 Standard Edition, which points to a large share of buyers taking the $99.99 Ultimate Edition. Our price and editions guide lists what each one includes.
When official numbers arrive
Take-Two reports its second-quarter results on November 9, with the earnings call at 4:30pm ET, ten days before the November 19 launch. Take-Two has not said whether that report will carry a pre-order figure.
