South Park Aired New GTA 6 Gameplay, and Rockstar Supplied the Footage

South Park aired new GTA 6 gameplay in "Guinea Pig on a Stick", the fourth episode of season 29, on October 28. The episode's credits read "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games", so the clip came from Rockstar and is not a recreation.

It is short and it is not a mission. The footage shows a moment of open-world play on the beach, not a car chase, a robbery or anything from the story.

What the South Park GTA 6 clip shows

The characters watch the footage on a TV. On a crowded Vice City beach, a dog relieves itself in the sand and its owner bags the mess. Jason Duval distracts the owner, takes the bag and hits the owner with it, as SVG describes the scene.

The beach matches what Rockstar has already shown of Vice City's shoreline, with sunbathers, umbrellas and banner planes overhead.

Why GTA 6 keeps coming up in South Park

The game has been a running joke all season. The season 29 premiere, "South American Biker Gangs", kept promising that things would get better in November, the month GTA 6 launches, and the joke has returned through the season's South America arc, GTA BOOM reported. In the new episode, Cartman approves of what he sees.

Rockstar has not commented on the appearance. It has not said whether more footage will run in later episodes, or whether the beach moment is from a mission or free roam.

GTA 6 is out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
