Virgin Media Ireland Will Pay One Player €800 to Play GTA 6 for Eight Hours

Virgin Media Ireland will pay one person €800 to play GTA 6 for eight hours, at €100 an hour, and buy them the game. Applications close on November 15, 2026, according to the competition page.

The job comes with a condition: the winner has to post an honest review of the game on social media between November 20 and 26, after Virgin Media has approved it.

Who can apply for Virgin Media's GTA 6 job

• Applicants must be over 18 and live in the Republic of Ireland.
• They need a public Instagram or TikTok profile.
• They do not need to be Virgin Media customers.
• The application is a 100 to 200 word answer on why they are right for the job.

Virgin Media says it will choose a winner and get in touch within seven days of the closing date. The page does not name a console or an edition of the game.

The review rules

The eight hours can be split across a week. The winner then posts one review that tags Virgin Media Ireland and carries an #Ad label, and Virgin Media must approve it before it goes up.

The review cannot include gameplay footage, screenshots, game audio, artwork, logos or any other material owned by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It has to be the winner's own words about their first eight hours.

Why the dates are tight

GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, and the review window opens the next day. Virgin Media does not offer early access, so the winner has at most a week from launch to play and post. Dexerto put the fee at about $891 at October exchange rates.
