Port Gellhorn

Port Gellhorn is a fading beach town on Leonida's coast. Rockstar's place page calls it “Leonida's forgotten coast”, under the tagline “Live Hard.”

“Cheap motels, shut-down attractions, and empty strip malls won't bring the tourists back,” it says, “but there's a new economy in this once-popular vacation spot. It's fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks. Jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet.”

“Forgotten Coast” is also the real nickname of a stretch of Florida's Gulf coast in the Big Bend, which is the likeliest model.

What Rockstar has shown in Port Gellhorn

The town also appears in Trailer 1, where a red muscle car spins its rear wheels past the Port Gellhorn Pawn & Gun.

What is not known yet

Rockstar has not shown where Port Gellhorn sits on the map, which characters are tied to it, or which of its businesses can be entered. The mention of dirt bikes suggests off-road riding nearby, but Rockstar has not described any activity there.
